My teeth are gross, I have lost mainly all of them, upper and lower. I can't afford to get them fixed or dentures. I will not smile, will not eat in front of others. I hate that I can't smile or eat.

If you're not eligible for state assitance, make too much for a free program (available in many large cities) and don't have insurance then try calling around to your local dentist's offices to see if any of them offer a Care Credit card or other equivalent credit card. I just had to have $700 worth of dental work done (that's WITH dental insurance!) and applied for the Care Credit card. My dentist had a 0% interest for 18 months special going on. OR, to further add to your savings join a discount dental plan for $6.95 a month that provides you with a pre-contracted rate. That would add to an even larger savings if you don't have insurance and could get the 0% interest savings. Scroll to the bottom of the link below to see the average cost of dentures using this particular discount plan. These are great options because there is no limit to the number of times you can see a dentist, the number of times you can have treatments done, there's no "max" so you don't have to worry about using up all of your benefits and there's no pre-existing condition clauses.

Are you a senior citizen? Check with your county or city- they may have special programs to help people over a certain age deal with health issues. If you are younger- see if there is a dental school in your area- they do procedures at no cost/low cost, so dental students can learn technique. If you're low income, try medicare, medicade or social services for assistance.

My father-in-law had the same problem. He is on disability and his wife isn't working. He qualified for free dental work (pulling rotting teeth and getting fitted with dentures). I would look into local social assistance programs. I don't know where you are, but we are in Ontario.

I do not know where you live, but if there is a dental school near you. They usually will give so many free examines and false teeth away. You may just need them to fix what is wrong with your teeth.

Try a dental universtiy, they sometimes accept patients with special needs and low income. I will call first. Also, belonging to a church might help. They always have assistance for the needy.
