No harm! Girls too, look at men's butts! We like butts! Long live butts!

As a guy, I have mixed opinions on this. It is definitely a fair question. There are two sides to this story:

1. It is natural to look at things that are attractive to you, be it a work of art, a cool car, or the butt of another person. It does not have to mean anything, and it is not like women never do it! Maybe you don't, and kudos to you, but I've caught women checking me out (as infrequent as it may be), and I've caught my significant other taking a quick peek at someone on occassion. A peek is nothing, and there is little that anyone can do to stop it. You may as well be jealous because he has wet dreams if you are going to worry about this all the time.

2. That said, if a guy cares about you, he will respect your feelings. I don't gape and stare or do the "guy turn" when girls go by when I'm with my wife. I don't make lude comments. I don't ignore her. A guy should give you special attention, especially if you are out on a date. He should treat you with respect and make it know that he belongs to you.

There is a balance to be had here. Don't get overly-jealous on this issue. You don't want to be a nag, or your relationship is not going to last. On the other hand, don't let your guy disrespect you. If he does it now and you don't put a stop to it, it will become worse later. If it is really not that bad, then let it go, and sneak YOUR peek in once in awhile when a hottie comes by. That'll learn him! Or, sit him down and talk about it if it is a real problem. Be fair. Listen to what he has to say. Let him know how you feel. Then compromise and move on.

Good luck!

Okay - here's the deal. Men "look," and probably always will because they work that way on a cellular level I think!!! What is NOT OKAY is to be rude to his lady and flirt, or check women out in her presence, or in front of mutual friends. I don't think women can change a man's circuitry because they will always notice other women, but if they do it in front of their girlfriends, then they are players and the girlfriends should be "looking" for another boyfriend who shows them more respect and attention. A girlfriend should never lower herself to tell her "flirting" boyfriend she's jealous. She should clearly tell him that when he stares at a woman's anatomy in front of her that it insults her and does not show her due respect. If he doesn't care or laughs it off, this macho boyfriend needs to be kicked to the curb.

I find it annoying too. Especially if the guy is with his girlfriend..that is total disrespect. Men are just pigs and like to look at our assets. I get jealous over things like that too. I guess it depends on how long they're drooling over her butt or how many times they keep looking at the same girl's behind. Just let your boyfriend know that bothers you and see if things change.

I don't think that all men look at other women butts, but the majority does because they are so fascinated with the way it look that's if it looks good to them and sometimes they look because it looks so nasty. women look also just to see if the women next to her butt looks better than her own behind. It's a natural reaction, but if the person begin to stare and drool you may have a problem on your hand.

Well I'd much rather my husband look at another woman's butt then at another mans butt. ;o) It's just in their nature. No need to be jealous after all there's plenty of men out there with nice looking butts as well. (wink)

i agree with you. but i recently learned that a lot of times when men look at other women they dont even realize that they are doing so. its such a subconcoius thing. you can approach the subject with your boyfriend, if you have one, and tell him calmly that he should try to take notice the next time he's looking at another woman. because while a quick glance its not really too bad, looking too much, especially in front of you, is a disrespectful thing. i mean i know when you see a hot guy you at least look once. but guys tend to me more zombie-like about it.

Because God gave them eyeballs. Listen, you can't expect a man to forget there are other beautiful women in the world. I mean you still see cute guys right?
You can however, ask them not to comment when you are around if it makes you uncomfortable.

All men look at other women. It's nature. Don't worry- he already choose you! Don't sweat it if he likes to window shop.

I don't know if you should be jealous, but you probably should be offended by his behavior. It is disrespectful to check out other women in your girlfriend's presence. Walk away the next time this happens to you and find your own way back home. If he doesn't get the point then, you'll know he's playing games and wanted to offend you.
