Since I was 13 my skin swells up all the time into these really red lines that look as if I were scratched by a cat or something. (they're usually in clusters like 5 lines) Like depending what i do i get them, sometimes its a reaction to something, but mostly I get them when I mad, irritated, upset and so on. I've had these for so long and my doctor tells me it's in my head and that it's my brain signaling to my nerves. But it's really not sometimes I'll just be sitting there and I get them. I get them mostly anywhere on my body and they sometimes hurt (especially on my hands) and always itch. It usually takes about 30 mins. for them to go away it takes so much patience not to itch them cause they'll get worse and spread. I'm so sick of them and it can get really embarrassing when they are on my face and everyone asks whats wrong. I need help, does anyone else ever get these I feel like I'm the only one. If so what do you do to make them go away? I'll take any suggestions?!

See a dermatologist (skin doctor). They can accurately diagnose it and prescribe a treatment.

You should consider actually seeing a dermatologist. This sounds a little like Rosacea, though the thing with it showing up on your hands souds a bit strange. Rosacea is known to flare up with emotions, esepcially for some people. It is also affected by food and drink and other circumstances such as temperature and exercise. I think you should check out the following website. It may help you determine what is going on. If this isn't it, at least you can eliminate it....
