People need to be instructed to know that the minute any person asks you for money (which they "need" in order to travel to visit you) or personal identitfication which will be used for identity theft, its a dead give away. These punks have claimed to have illnesses, needed surgery, or been trying to escape from an abusive employer or ex-lover. By the way, chances are that you are talking to a 400 lb. black man in your chat-room or dating discussion board. But check out that site anyway. Unfortunately, I have had friends and co-workers who have been fleeced by these sorts of internet scams and have chosen to help others avoid such trouble.

The people responsible for the crap will bleed people of their money and if they travel to meet them, they will kidnap them (or attempt to) and if successful, hold you for ransom until your family runs out of money. In some extreme cases, people have been murdered after their family's funds are exhausted.

About the Passport and KLM ticket, these people are notorious for sending forgeries to people. Either way, if you are asked for money, whether these girls claim to be from Russia, or Nigeria, its a scam.

Oh yes, if anyone wants to start a petition to help pressure internet companies to crack down on this particular scam, or any others, then I am happy to sign!

Have you ever tried to get a real live person from customer service on Yahoo? Not easy is it? Yahoo and many other major dating sites could care less about taking down a fake profile. It costs them money to search them out and take them down. It is also about numbers. The more people on your site, then the better it is. It is also not illegal to have a fake profile up. But, what they do with it is illegal. They gain a persons trust through false pretenses. Then ask them to cash fake checks; fake postal money orders; or get them involved in a reshipping scam. What can we do to make Yahoo accountable for their actions? I do not have the answer for this. And, I agree that something needs to be done to safeguard people online. Also, I can see that you are not from America Robert. So, where are you and why are you posting this?. You might be in Nigeria yourself, but I do not really know.

Robert, I apologize if I insulted you. Your spelling is ...er...uh....different in your posting. So, I just thought you were from another country out of the USA.

Sure, send me the list of scammers. I can pass them on to someone that I know.

while you're in homestead windows, you change off the gadget. once you change it lower back on you may boot up in "risk-free Mode". now and lower back you will might desire to click an F- key that asserts "gadget Setup Settings" or some such. as quickly as you boot up in risk-free mode, you ought to have an administrator account to log in with and alter your password on the different account ^^. or you may set up linux on a partition break free homestead windows and seem on the password document via there.
