are you chinese? if not, why do you want to get a symbol that has no real meaning to you? why not get something that represents your relationship as sisters? just my opinion but you should avoid cultural languages that don't have to do with your own.

You can only get the correct cagligraphy for the words from someone who is Chinese.
Chinese coligraphy is very complex and small variations often have big differance in meaning.
You can't even figure it out yourself unless you know Chinese because the characters interact with one another to express ideas that do not simply translate into words.
My Chinese friends laugh about that all of the time how people get tattoos that they think means something but turns out to be either completely meaningless or just nonsence.
Like maybe they wanted the symbol for "love" but it was done wrong so it actually means "foot medication"
We actually saw that on a girl that had it just below her navel.
LOL
Go to someone that is Chinese and get them to write it for you so you get it right.

I always found that a little weird. I wonder if there are people in China with the English words "Fire" or.. "Dragon" tattooed on them. If you're not Chinese... or if you don't speak Chinese or are affiliated with China in any way...why would you get Chinese written permanently on you?

why not get something that represents your relationship with your sister, like a book you used to read together, a hobby you share, a game you liked to play, etc. that will mean more to you than a symbol that you can't even read.

姐-literally means older sister
妹- means younger sister
姐妹 - means sisters
姐妹情深 - refers to a close relationship between sisters.
