mock people & then immediately follow with "does it make you feel good to mock people" Or my favorite is when they ask a question along the line Why are people here so judgmental? after they just talked a bunch of crap about someone. Am I the only one who notices this hypocrisy? BTW yes sometimes it is fun to mock people (you should know I do look at your past Q&A) but I don't go around saying I never did it & I have no problem saying I am judgmental & yes even sometimes a hypocrite & I do realize this is a blanket statement & I did not anywhere state that every single one of you does this

So what have we got here? A statement in which you mock people, but complain that people mock you. Then, of course, it's addressed disrespectfully to all "fundies," so I guess it's a little judgmental. Oh, no, I see it can't be because it's others who are judgmental. Oh, it's so confusing.

As a Christian I know that hypocrisy really angers the Lord but after reading your ? I believe that it should be obvious to you. When we judge others we are able to not look at our own lives and hearts. It is merely a distraction from the one thing we can change to make the world a better place. Since you are admittedly arrogant enough to feel the right to judge I don't see how you are any different but as a Christian I despise hypocrisy as it keeps people from the Lord as people who don't know Him think that He is like some of these people who you are speaking of. Further the ones who wish to impose the law of God through their politics sicken me. Jesus said time and again that He was here to teach us about Spirit and Love not rules.

I have no idea why, but I either ignore them (probably the best response), or try to respond to their questions with a logical answer in hopes of shedding some sense on them.
Eh.
Either way, I don't lose sleep at night.

lol good point i guess. but remember there is a difference between mocking and just plain telling the truth. truth can vary from person to person. every one in the world is hipocraitical at times so deal with it.

So are you saying you hold "fundies" to a higher standard compared to yourself?

Basic logic I fear must remain eternally out of reach for the committed fundamentalist.

Consistency has never been much of a virtue for the overtly pious.
