LOL. Like the response to the last question, I say give it a go. If they complain offer to write them another for some other infraction, front wheels turned wrong or some such.

LOL, I would think it would be impolite. You possibly just ruined that person's day by giving them a ticket and you expect for that person to actually give you the privilege of using their car mirror?

Please!

That's like asking someone for a towel to wipe the blood from your hands after you just finished killing their parents.....well, not quite that bad, you get the point.

One does not indulge in behaviour which is calculated to enrage your customers and no lady would apply anything in public except a polite kiss - not done. Try lipgloss - no mirror required. In fact on rereading your question I think this behaviour would result in more than a cold
sore!!

It is impolite but I have seen many traffic wardens in the movies, using people mirrors to check their lipstick and son on. Anyway, I say go ahead

A little cheeky eh ! you could do it but let the person off FREE. Anyway there are invisable patches you get in the chemist wnd you would not have to be bothered with cream

that would definately be impolite. If you were to apply it with your finger...while looking into the mirror, perhaps. But applying it with the mirror? Not only rude, but worrisome.

as long as no one catches you doing it (especially the person you just gave a ticket to!) then as no one knows then there wouldn't be a problem i don't think

Not a problem. You're not touching the car or hurting it in any way.
