British Muslims?

In case any Americans don't know the other day there were a lot of arrests over a conspiracy to kidnap a British Muslim soldier who had fought in Afghanistan for Britain and torture him and behead him and put it on the internet.

After the arrests Muslims who were asked about it could have said 'If this is true they are not true Muslims and deserve to be punished' instead they said how offended they were that they were being persecuted and how they wished to protest against the arrests.

Now I dislike Muslims even more. Why do so few of them speak out and condemn terrorism?

"it doesnt even represent all british muslims " Well no, but they were being asked about the arrests of people who wanted to behead an innocent patriot and they condemned the arrests - I also listened to British muslims whine about foreign policy in the wake of 9/11 and complain very loudly over the so called Islamic pictures published by the Danish newspaper. Muslims here in Britain were far more upset over that than they were about the deaths over nearly 3000 innocent people on 11th of September 2001.

I am truly saddned by this, but the truth is we will be judged for our own deeds. There are extremists who do not know the religion, and there are liberal who do not know the religion. The Majority of Muslims are Moderates, but simply follow tradition. I myself study and ask questions and seek answers from the AUTHENTIC sources. I feel like the British Muslims need to wake up and remove the CRIMINALS who do things like this. Please jail all the CRIMINALS this is where they belong. They want to kill innocent people, and say they are doing Jihad, well sorry news. They have gone astray a long time ago.

there, happy? its really not fair of you to dislike all muslims just because you heard some say somthing like that. it doesnt even represent all british muslims.

ok i dont live in britain and i didn't know about this until now. now if this happened, i think its ridiculous. the muslims you are talking about sound like lunatics, not rational people. i'm telling you now that i condemn terrorism and i'm a muslim. i'm not speaking out against the world, but i'm speaking up in front of you. but does that make a difference? do you still hate me for being a muslim because others of my religion have made mistakes? is it right to punish all mankind for the reason that some of them have done cruel things? you're acting like those teachers that punish the whole class because of 1 or 2 students. i was one of the quiet ones and used to hate that. i know it doesn't compare but i'm trying to make a point

you asked why so few muslims speak out against terrorism? they're afraid. muslims living in the US want nothing more than a quiet life and they dont want to get involved in anything that will bring attention to them. my parents were even afraid to let me wear hijab because it would bring attention to the fact that i'm a muslim. its not that they support the actions they just want to stay out of it

the thing about '3000' deaths on 9/11 is tragic and everything, but what about those innocent people killed by american and british troops in both afghanistan and iraq? have the death tolls scored 3000? give me a break!! and you're saying "i dislike muslims even more" apparantly hating them before hand!
muslims never say "we dislike christians...etc"
because they respect the other divine religions.
and such actions happening worldwide in the name of islam have nothing to do with islam whatsoever!!

I was once muslim(spits on the ground)before i moved to the U.S.i was my fellow muslim brothers threatened harm and to kill me because i wanted to convert to christianity,that is why i moved to the U.S.i wish i would have been born something else,even jew i could live with that.but not muslim(spits on the floor again)
