I know Karch Kiraly has earned the most of all time. He has earned $US 3,088,711 in domestic tournaments like AVP and $US 3,172,461 in international beach play with FIVB. I've never heard of any player getting a big deal with a team like you see with other major league sports.

I heard that paul duerden played in Europe made about a million a year for indoor volleyball. He plays on the Canadian national team. For the ignorant people on here, there other sports in the world that people like to and pay for other than the ones in North America.

My guess is the only volleyball players who get paid are ones who play beach volleyball and the money they earn for tournaments is probably very minute. I bet the top players make several thousand for endorsements though.

Short shelf life...unlike other careers they tend to be at their best early on and for a short time before they are overtaken by younger/fitter people.
