sounds like you're reading more into this than you should be so far! relax, and enjoy your relationship. you can't let past relationships ruin what's goin on, but i do understand that nobody wants to be "played" either.
be confident in yourself, you can only control you. you will be ok!!!

I have a feeling that you are over reacting. If your guy has called you up AND told you that he'd like you to work with him ( which means you'd be spending more time together), it only goes to show that he's not two timing. Probably he's just busy with mundane stuff. However, if you have a hunch that something is wrong, you should sort it out with him. Otherwise, you'd make a mountain out of a molehill of everything he does or says. Since you've been in relationships that ended on a sour note, it's just making matters worse. Hope everything works out fine.

I guess paranoid isn't the right word here, I would say either cautious or careful, and there is nothing wrong with that. But, as far as I know, you haven't had any reason to doubt this guy or see anything that resembles any type of problem that may occur. Just keep a sharp eye and try not to worry too much, life is too short.
