Insurance Lapse!?

It's a very long story but the the short version is my license and registration were supsended for an insurance lapse in New York State. I will pay the suspension fee ($25) bucks and hand in my plates. My question is can I transfer the title to my husbands name in order to re-register it?

yes do it like a sale...glad i moved to va from ny. you should b able to put it back in you name but the insurance co will kick you butt

u should able to get insurance in your husband name and get vehicle register again but ck your state DMV first.
