Wow! This is a great question. I want to say a few things.
1. It's not his responsibility to make you happy. It is his responsibility to love you and sacrifice his life for you.
2. I think you should narrow down what you mean by happy and what is keeping you from being happy.
3. Once you have determined #2, I would have a sit-down with your hubby. Here's a healthy model for confrontation.
1. Affirm the relationship - Let him know you love him and nothing will interfere with that.
2. Discuss the issue - Remember, he will probably want to help if you ask.
3. Discuss solutions - Maybe have some bullet points of ideas and ask him for some as well.
4. Discuss what is going to happen - Determine which solutions will be put to use and agree.
5. Reconfirm the relationship - You love him more now than ever.

Well do not just go out adn say hey man I am not happy. Be specific and tell him the things that bother you
