Satan is the leader of the high flying demons, "aliens" as people call them nowadays.

Good point. I think you may be right about this.
Satan can perform lying signs and wonders. He is the master of deception and the ruler of demons, which are among us.

Prove he exists, or provide enough evidence to reach an alpha/beta confidence of 80% (way, WAY low standard there... but I figure I can spare you some kindness), that this 'prince of the air' exists, and we can discuss his psychological influence.

Because he is the father of lies! satan uses scripture to deceive people- he uses anything that sounds good- he can twist scripture to make it something it is not- so when you are not being led by the holy spirit, you do not receive the truth. that is why so many people who do not believe pick at the bible so much. satan also uses relegion,such a broad path as Matthew 7:13-14 says those who take it leads to destruction. Many are deceived, the veil is over their eyes. satan is crafty and comes like a wolf in sheeps clothing. that is why it is crucial for us who do believe to be constantly in prayer and the word- seeking the Lord's wisdom.
They are actually working for him, and against God, and they do not even know it:
John 8:44
You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father's desire. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies.
satan also works in people- people who come claiming to be leaders of christianity but are false prophets- people who are not abiding by the word of god, or are twisting scripture or adding to it or taking away from it-whatever the case, are not being led by the spirit of God but rather the opposite:
Matthew 7:15
[ A Tree and Its Fruit ] "Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves.
