Dear Jim,

I haven't been keeping a spreadsheet with the frequencies so I'll go with my hunch that Nominee #4 is the most asked question.

#4 is also the question I find most annoying.

I think the reason why most religious people hate it when atheists are in this section is because some [not all] tends to make fun of religion. I mean, it's okay if you come and say "Why do you believe in God? Scientific research has shown that [insert fact here]...." or come up with any intelligent thing to talk about but to simply talk about something like 'Flying Spaghetti Monster' just to spite theists up is pure disrespect. Everyone has different sensitivities, some people are offended by racial jokes, some are not, some people prefer not to talk about their dead loved ones, some do etc. Everyone needs to learn to respect people's boundaries and sensitivities. :) Of course, the theists have also shown disrespect to others like forcing their religion upon others etc., that I won't deny [rarely nowadays, though, even if you are, you can always say you're not interested or anything, they're not going to shoot you or kill you, at least not in Western countries] but if the so 'morally called atheists' [who thinks us, religious people, as uncivilised and morally retarded] thinks that when a person did bad stuff to you, you should reply back the same [or worse], then, the answer for the bonus question is that it depends on the people, rather than beliefs a person beholds.

Recently, it's the 1st question... why are Atheists in this section. And it's the most annoying one (ranks right up there with the stupid question about monkeys). At first I didn't think much about it, but now I wonder if they actually feel threatened by Atheists being in this forum. And what kills me is they always make sure they answer Atheists questions... and from what I have seen, they do so in a way that supports the Atheist claims that most people in Religion are Fanatics. Arrogance and Ignorance go hand in hand, it seems.

Mr Jim;Aliens from another world came many years ago and mixed the dna of themselfs into chimps, this equals human primates. chimps or still here.so that's what happened there.and this is # 1 most asked question.

second.why do the atheists .the non believers want to get on here because they rebelled against religion.and their in a defensive mode,so they want to argue.or they were beaten as children, or molested. or they hate God because their family was killed in a accident and know that their couldn't be a God, If they truly believed that what they say is true they wouldn't be defensive & arguing with people?.or they simply would like to make sure they have company? .the reasons why some people doesnt believe far out way the number of reasons a person does beleive.this is second

The next one about repectful questions.is third.

the last is last.

Peace oh Darwin one.may the great monkey of creation make you wise and knowledgable

We cannot answer that question without a computer print out. We cannot even guess with a 50% accuracy.

Why? We humans are burdened (or blessed) with a part of our brain called the "reticular activity zone".

Without it we could not see anything in particular, we could not focus, we would see all things at one time.

With it, we cannot judge things except in comparison to our preconceived ideas and expectations. The classic example is:

(I am not continuing until some one gives me a thumbs down or thumbs up. Why? I feel like I am speaking into a blank wall.)

Thanks. And, might I add? I love you, whoever you are.

The classic case is:

You buy a new car, and it is "blue" in color.

For the next few days you notice that there are a lot of blue cars on the highway.

(This could work also with the Model of your car. Especially if you were one of the first to purchase a minivan, or SUV.)

Back to the blue car: Even if you didn't notice other blue cars.

UC Berkely - Did a survey of people who had recently bought blue, red, and gray colored cars. Each person was asked what is the most common color car on the Highway. - Well, I am sure you get the point. (People with gray cars said gray. With red cars said red was the most common etcetera.

On this chat group: If you are an atheist , your reticular Activity Zone will register Questions that disturb Atheists, If you are Mulslim ---- well, I am sure you get the point.

Added:

Nothing is proven until it is tested.

This list of answers can be used to test the "RAZ" theory.
provided we could determine the asserted beliefs of each person in relationship to their answer.

Jim (Sean) probably knows each of our beliefs. So Jim could test the RAZ theory.

(This is the most boring thing I have ever written)

What about #6: all of the above. In answer to what seems like your real question -- "Why don't newbies (or anyone) look up answered questions before they ask?", as a newbie, there are two reasons:
a) its easier to ask the question than sifting through all the resolved ones.
b) You only get points for asking and answering questions not from doing a bunch of research.

And so what if there is repetition? Don't like nudity on TV? Change the channel. As for dumb questions, sometimes I wake up wanting to rip on a christian or an atheist and these are exactly the kinds of questions I want to respond to (Most of the time, I am a sincere answerer, though).

And if any of these things violates the guidelines my only defense is that I grew up on a mac so I've been conditioned not to need instructions. Oops, I should have put that under technology.....God made me do it.
