It doesn't have to be literal, but along the lines of it. My german is too little to translate this from english the right way. =/ Thank you!

all versions are wrong i am from germany and here is the correct sentence:
"Für die Welt bist Du nur irgendeine Person ... aber für eine Person bist Du die Welt. "

Der Welt magst Du/mögen Sie nur eine einzelne Person sein, aber einer einzelnen Person bist Du/sind Sie (vielleicht) die Welt.
Depends on what this is supposed to be good for. If you want to use it for Valentine's, it's of course with the "Du"s and drop the "vielleicht," if it's for counseling a sucidal person, the "vielleicht" might be in place.
I'm a native, but I doubt I would EVER say this sentence to anyone.

Für die Welt bist du vielleicht nur ein Mensch, aber für einen Menschen bist du vielleicht die Welt.
I think in this form this could be used in German and would be quite poetical.

it incredibly is commanding human beings to do a thorough interest... (ran)klotzen means to place a super form of attempt in... whilst kleckern actually means to spill and with the aid of this context might advise to merely do something 0.5-heartedly.
