Most definetly yes. It is nearly impossible to think that in an infinite universe we are the only planet that has intelligent life, or life in general on it. There has to be life somewhere like you said there are billions of galaxies why should ours be the only one with life.

Given the vastness of the cosmos and the amount of galaxies and planets, I would say that it would really be strange if we were the only life forms that existed in the universe. "There are more planets in our universe than there are grains of sand on every beach and in every desert in the world".

As you have stated, given the myriad of Galaxies, stars within them and probable planets at least around some of them....well you've done the math, so yes I do.

with the sure fact and scope of the universe then there is a good chance that there is alien life out there. but if they find us then we will find out that we are sadly lacking. also the fact that the bible thumpers that are going to answer this question wont believe it until they see one up close and personal. and they can believe in an all powerful being. which one is more believable?
plus the fact if there isn't other life out there then it truly is a lonely place.

Oh, yeah. There's gotta be! There's just som much room out there.
I mean, I can't see the vast, endless reaches of the universe being populated by only one (so-called, lol) intelligent species... You know? It'd just be gigantic waste of space.
...To all those people talking about God and how he ONLY create humans... How do you know that? Personally, I'm a devout Christian, but I figure... Why would God make such a huge universe if He was only going to create us humans?
Also, technically, humans from another planet would be considered 'aliens', you know?

Of course they do. Where do you think Vampires came from. And what about Goth ideology The vampires taught it to today's youth so they would have a well organized group of humans to protect and feed them. Now the Goths guard the Vampire covens and lure vagrants and the homeless to them so they can feed. Haven't you noticed how few homeless we have lately.

I agree with you, I can not say for certain but it would most likely be that alien life forms exist.

Reason would dictate that this cannot be the only planet that contains complex life forms.

Maybe - but so far there's no evidence of them ever showing up here on Earth. Oh, wait a minute - I forgot George Bush, Dick Cheney, Condoleeza Rice...

Since life spontaneously generated on this planet, certainly it can generate wherever in the universe.
