You really should go to the hairdressers. If you prefer not to, bring a little bit down at a time, until you get the desired thickness its better to do it slowly as you can't stick it back on. Cut it while wet and always cut it an inch longer than where you want it as when it dries it will spring up.

Get it done by a hairdresser who will probably layer it to prevent it getting too thick and making you look like cousin IT from the Addams Family, don't attempt it yourself I know from experience, I had a fringe for years untill I finally managed to have the patience to grow it out, it looked too babyish and cos it gets humid underneath got alot of spots under the fringe as well, urgh, a fringe seems a good trend idea to begin with but the novelty soon wears off, the hairdresser had to keep layering mine but despite this it still kept getting thicker over time, hence the jokes at school from people calleing me Cousin IT, once my mum tried to cut it herself, it went wrong and people then called me basin, it was far too short, best to grow it out when you can, though its a pain in the butt especially when it gets to the stage when its in your eyes and you have to pin it back with hairclips, go to the hairdresser and get professional advice, they can cut it without making it crooked/uneven, good luck!

Seriously go to the hairdressers because more often than not it goes wrong and you will end up having to go to the hairdressers anyway. Make sure you tell them how exactly you want it because i got one put in recently and its really thick and everyone likes it but me!!
