Is there any medication for sinus drainage that aren't so harsh and damaging to ones body. That don't dry the mouth to the point of not being able to hardly live with ones self. My daughter is taking two medicines, both give a dry mouth. One especially reccomends not to be taken for long periods of time. Are there any other drugs available that could help her problems? Does anybody else have this problem?

Barbra, I haven't received an email from you re earlier question about dry mouth. I see you've put a message at your Q&A page but I can't contact you this way.
Please go to my Q&A and use my email contact there to send a message, and then I can return the requested list.

My doctor told me that some dry up and some drain. For children--you want one to drain. If you dry it up in a child, the eustachian tubes ( tubes draining the ears) can become blocked. Any medicine that will dry the nasal drainage up will naturally dry the mouth, and every part of the body--even the urine output. Doctor put my children on prescription medicine (I think it was Entex) Don't know of any over the counter medicine but you might ask your pharmacist.

Why don't you go and see a doctor!
See how un-helpful it is now? I mean, COME ON! Your comment was so unbelievably useless! As if the school would set the essay without getting us to read the play first! And yes i have watched the film as-well so i will know if someone is telling me a false answer- e.g. one person said it was his daughters who burned out his eyes (WRONG). All i was hoping for was extra sources and opinions from those more experienced than myself to help me with my AS COURSEWORK and your comment did bugger all to help that. Thanks for nothing and if you're going to say "i was only warning you" don't bother because it's obvious i would have studied the play with a question like that. You should have your question answering abilities revoked.... until you get a brain.
Thanks for nothing.
