i have alot neighbors that are sex offenders, and one preditor. my neighborhood is well, filled with them. i live in florida. i never want to raise a child here. Why is it that the guy raped a 8 year old girl and now is still out and about. i heard he was only in jail for 2 years and now on probation. Whats wrong with this america?

Because our laws define the penalties for specific offences, overcrowding of jails, the publics lack of interest in paying more taxes to fund new jails and officers, the system is overloaded with inmates being released much sooner than the sentence ordered!
Stand up and voice your anger with the local, state, and federal politicians!
Write emails, letters, make telephone calls, and show your elected officials you no longer wish to tolerate the way our judicial system has failed!
Each State DOES provide "sex offender" websites normally found on the Department of Public Safety sites! There are other websites with free access to help you as well!
By the way....I'm throwing em into jail...the lawyers are letting them out!

There is a difference between a child molester (criminal) and a pedophile. A pedophile is a social deviant expressed in a way defined by the American Psychological Association as a 'character defect' and a psychological maladjustment that justifies therapy. The court system in the United States has imposed the sure control of such a condition by confining such persons in mental hospitals. This is a draconian solution that violates the constitutional guarantee against cruel and inhuman punishment for crimes. In this case the penalty never ends though prison time has expired.
On the other hand, a PEDALPHILE is one who loves bicycles and all things swift and spandex. The roads are FILLED with people of this persuasion.

I don't think any sane person would disagree with you friend.. though I strongly believe in giving second chances, I find it hard to believe that these sex offenders can even be rehabilitated like most ordinary criminals. one year ago a neighbor in an apartment complex where I lived just two doors down was arrested for no registering and living too close to a school, I hope they sent his *** back up to prison.
Hate to tell you to snitch, but maybe he is in violation of parole, do you live near a school, if so file a complaint.

That is a good question, we spent 2 years of our life to get a man convicted. He was sentenced to 15 years for 3 counts against a 14 yr old boy. While searching we found out about 22 other boys he had molested and we gave info to the PA and sheriffs office. We were threatened by his family to stop searching and had 3 shots fired at us but they wont press charges against him for the other 21 boys or the shooting because the PA said he wont get any more time in prison to which i say bull. I have asked that the PA be investigated due to his miss handling of the case and lying to us. We are still waiting to hear something. This all came about because he tried to molest our boy. I don't care if it was my own brother i would make sure he went to prison and i think all molester should be imprisoned for life, no parole

Most of these people have mental disorders, and do not know what they are doing. After therepy and 2 years in jail they should learn their lesson, and also just because they are former sex offenders does not mean that they still are. If you are planning on raiseing a child you should definetly move though.

because some idiot down the road thought of the word rehabilitation.
Rehab works............but not for something sexual.........at least in my mind. like rapist's...........you can only deal with the outcome, you can't really stop it from happening unless they fight back or there's some other underlying circumstance.
Sucks when you have to deal with outcomes rather than stopping it before it happens............

because trash like that somehow gets lawyers to get them the best deals,spineless judges,you should move out of that neighborhood or just torch it,I'm sure no one will miss that trash anyway,they should BE EXECUTED.there is no justice for children in this country.
