It means that your headache has some cause that the aspirin didn't help. Aspirin doesn't help sinus headaches.
If it is sinus, you can bend over at the waist and straighten back up fast. If it throbs, it is likely sinus, and a decongestant will help.

I am pretty sure that aspirin does not help migraines, too.
If your headache persists - call your physician for advice.

Sometimes cervical (neck) problem cause severe headaches, medicines like asprin cannot control. I think you should checked from an ortho rather than popping medicine. Presently stay away from computer or activity requiring hand & neck movement. Try sleeping without pillow. Moreover, incase you are having asprin on empty stomach it may not be effective.

It could mean that you have a strong headache. Maybe even a migraine. Try something with a mix of aspirin, Acetaminophen and Caffeine. If that doesn't do the trick you may have to speak to a Dr.

if its really bad it could be a migraine, those usually take a couple tylenol and some rest in a dark room. or could be a caffeine headache, ive had these befor and the only thing that oddly enough seems to help is a cold glass of pepsi. hope it works for you, good luck!

Many things, you might be dehydrated, you might have too much stress, you mi gt just need a relaxing time. You might be negative about yourself ( Christiaane Beerlandt in the key to self realization). You might have a migraine due to weather changes, and or hormone imbalance. If you took that many you wouldn't be on yahoo typing this question. Drink a coke or something with caffeine. Caffeine may help with headaches for some people.

probably means that it is a tension headache that won't respond to aspirin's properties. Try breathing into a paper bag for five minutes, don't huff and puff, just breathe normally.

It may be migraine and anyway, any analgaesic must be taken at the very onset of pain, otherwise it needs massive doses to have any effect !

It could mean that its effect hasn't kicked in, yet.... or that you took the wrong medicine- not strong enough. I take advil - works like magic for me.
