Its been 2 years since my first love and I went our seperate ways.
I saw him again for the first time since we broke up three days ago, and all the feelings that I thought were gone, came back again. I havent told my current boyfriend about it.
Will I ever be able to forget my first love?

I'm still trying to get over my first love. I have to say that the relationship I had with him wasn't the best, but why would you want to have those feelings for someone when you are now with another. Those feelings shouldn't matter, all that should matter is that you have a new boyfriend and you are happy, right? Ask yourself that, maybe you are having those feelings because you have regret of the break up and you are not truly happy with the person you are with. It's your first love, it's hard, if it was a good relationship then that makes it even harder.

I am 33 years old, and I was 17 when I met my first love (ok I know, a bit of a late bloomer!!). We broke up a few years after that, and I never forgot him.
We actually saw each other again in 2005, and EVERYTHING came rushing back.
Short answer? No, we never forget the first love!

It is really difficult to forget your first love. But one has to. Just because one has to lead one's life in a so called peaceful manner within the boundaries of social pressure. Nevertheless, the feelings of first love are never wiped out from our mind. Occasionally the past remembrances do give us a lot of pain which is hard to express. The Indian Society in particular thinks it to be a sin to remember your first love if you are married to someone else.
Life does go on. Who cares whether you are happy or dying every moment?

The fact that he's your best friend won't make you forget him EVER. Best friends just don't forget each other just because they got separated. If you say you don't have special feelings for him no more, it might be that you really don't feel anything anymore and you just miss his "BEST FRIEND" company OR you still like him but won't let you tell yourself because you're afraid that when you take your relationship to another level your friendship might get lost. Try to see each other and TRY to talk about what you feel.

Yes, you will forget about your first love sooner or later. It isn't the man that you still love, it's the first love feeling that you love. And I'm sure if your current boyfriend sees his first love again, those feelings will come back to him.
By the way, I remember the feeling from when I was in love the first time, but the man himself I despise.

That's a hard question. I don't believe you will ever forget your first love, but i do believe that you will be able to get over that person. Your first love is someone very special to you and it's hard to forget him, but you will def. be able to move on. I am best friends not with my first love. I love him to death as a friend, but i don't have those old feeling for him anymore.

Well, its really possible but its very difficult. When I met my second luv, I m sure that i forgot almost everything for my first luv. Its the passion & feelings that matters & not the person. Once you have more passion & more feelings for someone & he/she also reverts in d same way, I m sure, u ll forget ur first luv. Though I put in more passion in my second luv, now i m fighting to forget her, as I havent got more passion than that in my life till now.

No, at least I didn't and it has been over 20 years. At first I didn't understand why he didn't want to be with me because I loved him so much. But now I'm kinda glad I didn't marry him. He just didn't turn out to be the guy I wanted to be with.

when we talk of first love, is not easy to forget about it even when you have breakup . this because the first time you got Ur feelings and is not easy to forget about that feelings you had,means when you not seen anybody in Ur life, you will not the feelings am talking about. the feelings like when you have go bed with her and have fun together.with this i think it will be very difficult for me to forget my first love.
