We are both chrsitians, me and my husband. His father died about a year ago and his mother just recently saved about the time her husband died. She won't let go of her only son and let us enjoy our lives together. I don't want her to be cut off from us, but i do want privacy and to know that me and my husband can do soemthing without her knowing because we are adults. What should I do. I 've talked with her pleanty of times about hoe rufe she is to me and how she is even worse to her son. when is enough, enough???

I would give it a little more time for her husbands death, she is used to having someone around her and now the only person really close to her is her son, if after a few more months she is still clingy you should ask your husband to talk to her about it. Or suggest a dinner once a week where she can come to your house and eat dinner with you and your husband to kind of ease her off of bugging you all the time. :)

Your partner is the one that needs to stand up to her and by the way she treats both of u by being rude u have plenty reason to say something. The longer u leave it the harder it will get.
