Courtney, for what it's worth. My son is dating a young woman whom he dated for 7 years. They had talked about getting married, etc. Well, about a year ago they broke up, I think because my son wouldn't committ to getting married (at least that is what I had heard). He started dating other women, she dated one guy who apparently wasn't all that interested in 'settling down'. Well, she got pregnant by the 'other' guy who then dumped her like a hot potato. Her baby is due in about six weeks and her and my son have been together now for about 3 months. She plans on giving the baby up for adoption. These are college graduates who are 25 years old. So sweetie, don't you worry about being 'damaged' goods. Good Luck to you!!!

There are a lot of things to consider when dating someone else. In my opinion, children and women with children are not considered "damaged goods". I prefer to focus on mutual attraction and how we click to determine the future of a relationship.

Ok, i'm not a guy, but i think every pregnant woman has at one time wondered if she would ever land another guy if she were left alone. I think the right type of guys would date a woman w/ a baby. And you wouldn't want the guys that wouldn't!

How would you be damaged goods? If the woman does not have any problems with the father, is single, and has her head on straight, why wouldn't a man date her?

Of course. A child isnt something to run away from. My best friend (a girl) has a little boy n he is the best part of my life. Mature guys will not care whether you have a little tyke.

IT WOULD DEPEND ON WHY SHE HAS AND INFANT TO BEGIN WITH. BUT IF THERE WERE REASONS OTHER THAN JUST SCREWING AROUND, OR IMMATURE DECISION, THAN I WOULD DEFINITELY DATE HER. JUST BECAUSE YOU HAVE A CHILD AND THINGS WENT TERRIBLY WRONG DOES NOT MEAN YOU ARE DAMAGED IN ANY WAY. IT JUST MEANS YOU ARE HUMAN, AND DOES NOT CHANGE YOUR ABILITY TO LOVE AND BE LOVED IN RETURN...

Depends on the guy, but for the most part you have to probably date someone who is divorced, widowed and has kids from former relationship/marriage, that way, you are both on the same level.

If she's a good person - OF COURSE!
If she's a knucklehead or a golddigger HELL NO!
But that would apply to ANY woman, not just pregnant women and new moms.
