Depending on whats on there and the actual severity of your credit problems, if it just mild then the best thing to do is consolidate through a 0% card or through a sig loan from your bank, start paying down the active debts, and if you have anything in collections settle for 50% or less of what they claim you owe, its easy to settle and can save you tons

Obtain a copy of your credit report from all 3 reporting bureaus. Find all your old, negative debts and send letters to each one to contest the validity of the debt. They have 30 days to respond that the debt is indeed valid and yours. Sometimes they do not respond in time, and then they must remove the debt from your credit report. With the ones that do respond, settle the debt for as little as possible. Pay down the balance on your current credit card(s). Try not to carry much, if any balance on cards. Some debts, such as student loan or car payments look good on your credit report, if you are making the payments on time every month.

Most credit advisor insiders have this for advice. If you have $500 or even better $1000 go to a local bank and deposit that into a savings account. Take a loan out using that 1000 as collateral. Deposit that loan money into another bank account and once again take a loan out and so on. Pay these loans down slowly and after a good 6-12 months this proven, safe and legal way will clean up your credit to A credit. It worked for me. I even paid for this info :)

JS's advice plus do not close any accounts or open any new ones it really hurts your credit score. Try to erase any lates my FICO went up 90 points for erasing a 120 day that was invalid. Pay any collections or lates immediately. Lates hurt a lot and collections really hurt. Most credit reports color code items green yellow and red. Make sure you try to pay off or get rid off anything in red. Red is collections, charge offs, and way lates (120 plus). Charg-offs foreclosures or repos will affect your credit the most.

i've got carried out the frozen spoon technique. That helps tone it down some. i've got carried out the pinching/rubbing advice besides. That does help in case you have have been given a mild hickey. it's going to help mixture it in with the "rash" which you have have been given been scratching at. LOL to cover it up, you would be wanting a green concealer to tone down the purple. or you may try a yellow if that is not any longer too dark. Then faucet some beginning place/concealer on it gently mixture and precise it off with some powder.
