Ther'es tons of illegal mexicans in my city in California . And you just hear that at times people get caught, but it's not always. I know alot of illegal people working, going to College and all and it's like nothing. I just heard they got 700 people recently but not in my city, it was in san diego or LA.

So, is there no immigration department in individual cities in california? Just a main one centered somewhere and that's all?

Well if that's the case it's kind of a joke, because they are not catching many of the ones that are really visible in my city, they have big communities and nothing happens.

Employers..........

Well all i gotta say is, many rich people who are not COMPANIES. just residents in th eir houses. They hire gardeners who work for themselves, unattached to any company. So i doubt they would report them because these rich people are so lazy and want gardeners regardless wether illegal or not.

In fact my cousin is illegal and working as a gardener. If immigration is going to go and seek illegals at companies, they are ignoring the ones employed by rich people in their homes

It's called Homeland Security and every city has a department. The one in Los Angeles is in downtown. There is no way that you can just look at somebody and assume they're illegal. The LAPD is understaffed and they can't possibly do the job of Homeland security too. Research how it works and you will see the challenges they're having.

Any law enforcement can hold someone & call immigration. It is done at our airport & on our farms frequentlyin NC. There are few actucual immigration courts & offices. You report in Charlotte in our state & then in Atlanta GA if they have issues
with you your paperwork. I have friends that are Canadians.

In CA it is LA, Lancaster & San Pedro, I believe. In California, it is like holding a finger in a damn. Too many have been let in to stop the flow. Babies alone increase the numbers daily & illegals continue to arrive there.
Unfortunately, we can not pay for an office & support staff to pick them up for every community. There is a solution but it is a slow & tedious process of reporting them & having them removed until they just stop coming. The new big fines for employers will slow them done. Boycotting businesses that obviously hire illegals will remove any advantage in hiring them
