has anyone had it done? how much did it run you and was it worth it? i have an astigmatism, but my eye sight is THAT bad, just kinda fuzzy. i'm 25 and wondering if its worth it, and what i'm going to have to shell out.

wow, thats amazing how well you healed, and so quickly! i cant wear my contacts, they never stay where they are supposed to, and i've tried many different brands and sizes, and glasses, well, they're glasses...

so i might totally have to look into this. i would love to hear more stories!

My lasik sugery was two days ago. My pre lasik vision was VERY poor.. I think it was about 20/400 and required a perscription of -7.00 or maybe a little more. My eyes are still healing now and my vision is not 20/20 yet but was tested at about 20/40. The doctors said that since my Rx was so strong they actually slighthly overcorrected me so that as my eyes heal, and the swelling goes away, my eyes should be close to 20/20 over the next few weeks. I have to use a lot of eye drops to keep my eyes moist and an antibiotic drops to keep infection out. The total cost was about 3,000 including all pre and post surgery care. Since I dont know the final results yet I cant say for sure where my vision will end up... going from 20/400 to 20/40 in a couple of days though is a big improvement. Best wishes to you.

I had mine done yesterday!! Went to Lasikplus www.lasikplus.com.

It was about $1500 per eye with a lifetime of free enhancements if you ever need it.

I had 20/200 vision since I was 10. After 24 hours, I have perfect 20/20 vision and they said in 3 months it could be overcorrected and be 20/15 vision!

It feels AWESOME! The freedom from glasses and contacts is so overwhelming. I absolutely love it and encourage you to go in for testing to see if you qualify.

I had a slight astigmatism and they were able to correct it. Email me if you have any questions and I'll be happy to answer them for you.
