do you mean stories or books of the Bible? If you mean books like Genesis etc, open your Bible if you have a copy, and take a look at the table of contents. You will note the names of books, starting with Genesis and ending with Revelation. The Bible is really a library of 66 books penned by some 40 different people. The first section, composed of 39 books called the Old Testament by many, is properly named the Hebrew Scriptures because it was written mainly in Hebrew. The second section, made up of 27 books called the New Testament by many, is rightly named the Christian Greek Scriptures, for it was written in Greek by Christian writers. It took over 1,600 years, from 1513Â B.C.E. to 98Â C.E., for Bible writing to be completed. The writers never had an editorial meeting, and some books were written concurrently at places thousands of miles apart

I am not sure what you mean by story the old testiment is history but each live has many parts the new testiment is Jesus' life and the parables he told parables are storrys with meaning. there are 66 books in the bible but not each is a seperat story . Genesis has adam and eve noah also abrahams life also isaac ishmai; Jacob ( isreal |) Joseph juda and all the egypt history to mosses/ at least 10 historys that could be told individualy

Well if you include parables, historical anecdotes or records and other similar things the answer could easily be 1, 2, or easily several hundreds. It seems a pointless waste of time to count them.

depends which translation you use orthordox cahtolis protestant as they are all different why not count them and see
