I going to need daycare within the next 2 weeks and I'm looking for a site that gives info about daycares. I'm from chicago . Or is any thing or anyone that can help you choose the right place for your child.

Call a local elementary school. They are sometimes familiar with local caregivers as those are the people who drop kids off at school.

My kids go to our locale YMCA, they are fantastic, they do 6 weeks through 14 years with services for kids who need to be transferred to and from school. Mine also has swimming classes that are included in my weekly rate which is much cheaper than alot of daycares in my area.

Do you just need backup? You might want to check specifically for that. Id also check if your county who license's them has a listing. With only two weeks notice, you may be calling around alot. A last option would be trying a nanny agency to cover until you can find something youre happy and comfortable with. We had to tour alot.

Call your local social services the will be able to give you a list of all the day-cares in your county.
