Something about 3+4. Three and four were perfect numbers for some reason. Now I have to go look it up. brb.
The reason for 7 being a lucky number symbolically is because it represents the union of man and woman, since the number for women is 4 and the number for men is 3. (OK, that opens up two more questions)
Japanese culture considers it lucky and also has the seven lucky gods.

Seven is considered lucky, or perfect, because it is the number referred to by God. God rested on the seventh day, the number of God to drive out evil spirits is said to be seven. There are also the seven wonders of the world. there are probably many answers to this question and most have a religious connotation.

any and every number as some sort of significance. 7 wonders of the world, 7 notes in a musical scale. It's mostly coincidence, but mostly also how much significance you place on it.
If you are really interested in this, find the 9-11 page that describes all the iconic references to the numbers 9-1-1.
But IMO it's pretty much somebody who spends a lot of time knowing that they can arrange numbers in a certain order in order to show significance. Math is the universal language, so obviously a whole integer such as 7 will appear in many different places if you are willing to look for it.

wat i think is that the no.7-seven rhymes with heaven.

The Hellenic world defined it under the golden rules of proportion. It equates a grace in geometry and mathematics, the essence of God.

Seven (in the Bible) signifies divinely determined completeness. It is also the day (period of time) that God set aside for himself.
