The first set of shots should be given between 6-8 weeks of age. The series of vaccines should be given every 3 weeks until the puppy is 16weeks of age. At 16 weeks- it can also recieve its rabies vaccination which is just once a year. At 11-12 weeks make sure that the vaccine includes leptosporosis protection as well- before that age they are too young to receive that vaccine. They should have at least 2 vaccines that include leptosporosis before they are finished with the series. Good luck! Puppies are lots of fun!

Vaccinations begin 6 - 8 weeks of age. Rabies is given at 15 weeks and at our clinic it is a 6 month vaccination. Distemper and Parvo are the vaccinations that are given at 3 week intervals until the puppy is about 15-18 weeks old.
Scheduling may be different at your clinic, this is what we do here.

Usually, its between 6-8 weeks. But there are other exceptions to it. For example, if a pup was hand raised and never had any colustrum, then it'll have to get the shots way earlier. Or in an extremely clean and controlled environment, you may get away with it to do it later. It also depends on the type and brand of vaccines used.

I have a puppy and when I adopted it they gave it the shots at the age of 6-9 weeks old because they said it was the best time.

8 weeks old! keep the puppy away from other dogs until you complete the series of shots, also when you go the the vets office don't let your new puppy walk on the floors, you don't know what the other animals had, that walked there before !

Discuss it with your vet, but I start my puppies at 8 weeks. This gives them two weeks before they go to new homes, then two weeks to get over the stress of moving before they have the second set.

It really depends on your vet the care the mother had and when it is taken from its mom or when it is no longer nursing.
