Seem like your manager (boss) is a tyrant. Normally it should not happen. One of the main distinguishing factors of a good manager is the level of comfort his team feel around him / her.

We dont forget, we just simply dont want to be bothered.....so we tell a little white lie so they can get the hell out of our faces and go find something else to do besides harrass us.....lol
