Any fat can be used an an occlusive moisturizer (which is something so heavy that your skin's own moisture can't evaporate much). However, I wouldn't use animal fats. They can go rancid quickly, and would likely not be very good for your pores. Lanolin from sheep might be the exception. If you are in a pinch, I've heard Sophia Loren used olive oil for her skin. Skip the animal fats on your skin.

eugh, maybe but i wouldnt use it, wouldn't it clog your pores and be greasy? and STINK. stop being so cheap and by a bloody moisturiser lol

Yes and you can also use it to shine your combat boots.It's a wonderful thang.
