actually yes too much fruit is bad for you....if that's all you're eating then your keeping yourself from other essential nutrients that your body needs.....you should follow the food pyramid's serving size

Yes you can eat too much fruit. It is loaded with sugar and has quite a few calories. It reminds me of one show I saw where an obese woman said all she ate was oranges; The problem was that she was eating a crate a day.

Eat vegetables and lean meat. Stick to mostly green or leafy vegetables. Corn, carrots, and peas have quite a bit of sugar, too. You can eat as much lettuce (limit the dressing by dipping your fork in the dressing prior to a bite, rather than dowsing the whole salad) as you want, as it actually takes more calories to digest plain lettuce than you actually get from it.

Eat about an hour after exercise, as this will give your metabolism time to burn fat before you consume more calories. Work out with some weights, not just aerobics.

Good luck, and stick with it!

Yes, fruit CAN be bad for you, because fruit is high in sugar, and on any diet you really need to watch your sugar consumption. Of course, fruit is a good source of fiber, but you might want to get your fiber from things like green leafy vegetables instead of all that fruit.

Do a search for Glycemic Index and you'll see the relative values of fruits vs. vegetables.

Good luck with your diet, I know they are a pain.

out of all the little mind tricks i have tried this one works best for me:
whether i call it dieting or eating healthy or something else i find the best way to control what i stuff in my mouth is to ask myself how long do i have to stay on the treadmill, and rowing machine if i eat this?
that pretty much does it for me..............i hate exercising!
in answer to your question, too much fruit, and/ or veggies, can mean more frequent trips to the 'loo!
good luck!

YES! try to limit your fruit and get into green veggies. they will keep you stay full and you cant get to much. if its the sweetness you like in the fruit (too snack on) try fruit snack or rollups. a couple a day wont hurt and you will still get that sweet fruit taste u want. and always remember if its not fresh fruit is prolly packaged in syrup, so check the label and make sure its in natural juices.
