There's nothing better than having a romantic dinner waiting on him when he arrives, and setting up the bedroom for a few recreational activities(wink wink)...meeting him at the door in a trench coat, spike heels and thigh-highs (nothing else) always does the trick for my hubby.
In addition, I usually buy him tickets to an event he wants to attend (normally sporting). However this year I got him a new pistol that he has eyed for months but refuses to spend the money on himself - which I will use, too :). I also make sure he doesn't have to do a thing the whole day, other than being pampered. :)

I've found that books are a good Valentine present. I just got my boyfriend a journal, and suprisingly enough, I think he'll love it!

Something comfortable. Clothing or a accessory. A hooded sweat shirt or "lounge wear / sleep wear." Something that's is easy to put on and take off.
