If your budgie is a female, probably egg bound , needs a vet.

If the budgies is male, it is a tumor and needs a vet.

Either way the bird needs a vet or death will result.

IT COULD POSSIBLY BE WHAT THEY CALL EGG BOUND THIS ACCURS WHEN THE BIRD IS WANTING TO PASS AN EGG BUT DONT GET ENOUGH EXERCISE YOU NEED TO TAKE THE BIRD TO A PETS SMART OR A VET TO HAVE IT CHECKED OUT THIS IS A VREY SERIOUS PROBLEM

How do you know it's not an egg? The only other growth that can occur is a tumor.

Take it to an avian vet ASAP.

It is more then likley a fatty tumer. This is very common in Budgies

It sounds like it is a feather cyst. Take it to a vet they will lance it and remove it and your bird will be fine. Good luck.
