WAF and MVs codecs for Windows Media Player?

Question

Hello all.....I'm new to the site and just downloaded 2 movies..they will not play in Media Player. I dl'd the Divx codecs and that did not help. The above codes were in the file names....just wondering if anyone knew what codecs I need to get them to play in Media Player. Thanks.

Try Xvid codec

You can check which codec a movie uses by opening it in a program called Gspot. Make sure to select all files as the file type, as WAF and MV aren't standard extensions for video files. if it says file type unknown it's probably not a video file or it is encoded in some secret priority codec.
