Enzino Marconi is incorrect
Guglielmo Marconi invented the radio in 1895, in Pontecchio, Italy
There is great debate over whether Tesla invented it first, but it has never been resolved, not by the early twentieth century patent office decision that awarded the US patent to Marconi, nor by the 1943 decision to overturn several previously awarded Marconi claims to improvements made on the radio. The 1943 decision really only served to muddy the waters.

Marconi and he filed for a patent in 1896. Even though people before him had accomplished the same results, he's given credit for the invention...

Marconi, Tesla, and several others were the pioneers. "The radio" as we know it didn't appear until the 1920's.
