Is it " gai-na-ko-la-ji" or Jai-ne-co-la-ji" or something else? Is there any difference in American and British in this word? Please refer if there is any law in Phonetics....Kindly help

In America we would prononuce it either "guy-knee-caw-low-gee" or "guy-nah-caw-low-gee". But we spell it "gynecology", while Britain adds the "a". So not sure how they would prononuce it over there.

Brits pronounce it with a hard /g/ as in /get/. The 'ae' diphthong is a relic of the past and is still a muttered unstressed vowel sound.
