There are many suggestions you can try:

Eat on a smaller plate at meals. If you can't do this, mentally divide the portion of food in half, eat that, and then stop. Drinking water before you eat will also help you feel fuller faster. Also eating smaller meals thru out the day will help you feel more in control. Don't let yourself get so hungry you just start eating anything--hence the smaller meals between meals. I suggest for snacks, eat whole foods like fresh fruit and veggies, and foods with more than 3g of dietary fiber per serving, like Kashi Bars, will help you feel full--and they don't taste too bad either. If you have cravings take just a litle of what you are craving. Eat a handful of MMs instead of the whole bag, or put just one cookie or a few chips on a paper towel and eat that. It's ok to eat the things you like in moderation. Use the treats you like as a reward for a week of hard work--you'll appreciate them more!

As for excercising, get a DVD that focuses on legs-butt-thighs and abs. Walking is also a good excercise to lose all over.

Good luck!!

A secret I figured out is to eat EXACTLY what you want.

If you have a craving for chocolate ice cream, you could either satisfy that impulse with a spoonful of Haagen-Dasz Belgian Chocolate or drown your hunger with half a gallon of rainbow sherbet. You'll eat way, way more of anything if it's not exactly what you're craving. Even if what you want is bad for you, you'll be better off eating a few nibbles of it than a truckload of something else.

Also, monitor yourself. It's especially hard in social situations, but pay attention to your hunger. After every bite, really think, "Am I still hungry?" Don't pay attention to how much remains on your plate-- you're not contractually obligated to throw every scrap down your throat. Pretend it's someone else's plate, if that helps.

try filling up with more fruit and veggies in between meals. drink a lot of water because not only will it fill you up but it also helps you to lose weight and will make your skin look great too. I'm not sure that chewing gum will help you to feel less hungry because it stimulates your stomach and prepares to be eating something

Dont buy crisps and stuff for a little while, exercise daily to improve your body shape, and cut out the size of your food on your dinner plate and also to eat the foods with lower calories. Also, drink water or a cup of tea without sugar which will quinch your thirst instead of fizzy drinks which will make you puffed out, but do not starve yourself otherwise if your dinner doesnt fill you up, then you'll fell hungry and your mind will attempt you to eat more.

I don't know if there is such a thing as stopping a craving naturally. I know that it takes a lot of self discipline and a change of lifestyle. Change the things you do when you eat most. For example, when you "crave" chocolate, instead of going to the store to buy some chocolate, take a walk down the street to the park. Or put headphones on and listen to your favorite song. If you just take your mind off the bad habit, and replace it with a good habit it gets MUCH easier to control. =)

Drink a BIG glass of water before you eat your meals...you'll be fuller. And replace your munchies with water! Not as tasty, but it works!
