I hear angels love to help you find lost things. They say you should ask your angels to help you look for a lost item. I tried it and it worked. I lost a very special expensive earring. I put the back on wrong the night before and then left to go shopping all over town. When I got home I noticed it was gone. I paniced. My husband said he had vaccumed the house while I was gone. I told him I must have lost it around town. I did look in my bed and all over the house wih no luck.
I asked my angels for help. They somehow told my husband to look in the vacuum bag. He insisted on it and found the earring just like finding a needle in a haystack. The bag was full of debris.
Any stories?

I was trying to keep it short. It actually was lost for a week. We looked everywhere. I had heard you can pray for your angels to help you find things. I gave it a try. The likelihood of it being in my home was low. I got out of bed, dressed and ran out the door. Was gone all day. For some reason my hubby decided to vacuum that day. When I prayed, he told me he got a feeling, very strong that it was in the bag and hense it was.

Oddly enough yes, and Im sure no one will believe this happened but it did. About 3 years ago I lost my paycheck somewhere between my job and the bank, worst part was, it was SIGNED so anyone who found it could cash it. I tore up my car looking for it, couldnt find it, checked back at work... nope.. I prayed my heart out and couldnt find it... then while driving home, I was on my cell calling payroll to cancle the check when I saw something flap in the wind on the side of the road... I pulled over and guess what??? Yup... my check! What are the chances of me having even seen it?? I thought it was pretty dang cool!

Yes, I have prayed for things and usually the Lord reminds me where I put them. Once though I was supposed to send a friend a card and couldn't find the piece of paper I had written her address on. I prayed and continued searching. I walked out of my bedroom and walked back in a few minutes later and the paper was laying in the middle of my bed. There was nothing else there on the bed and it hadn't been on the bed when I left. The only way it could have shown up there was an angel dropping it on the bed.

This story has no crediblity. There is no evidence that an "angel" somehow told your husband to do anything. In order for this to be credible, it would have to be repeatable. You would:

Hide something and ask your husband to find it.
Pray that an "angel" help him find it.
See if he finds it.

Hide something and ask your husband to find it.
Do NOT pray that an "angel" help him find it.
See if he finds it.

You would repeat this process 100 or more times. You would also have several of your friends repeat the same experiment, and report their results.

My hypothesis is that the object will be found with the same percentage of success whether you pray for an "angel" to help or not.

Sorry, but to just say out of the blue that you asked an "angel" for help and your husband found your lost object is simply meaningless.

I'm confused on this one, and I mean no disrespect. How did the angels help exactly? Your husband said he swept. If he hadn't swept but insisted on looking in the vaccuum bag and low and behold there they were, that'd be impressive. But you lost an earring, he swept, he looked in the bag and found it. That's not angel intervention...that's a logical place to search. In any case, I'm glad you found your earring.

When ever I lose something and after much effort of searching I stop and I pray. My mother taught me to do this. This helps in a lot of ways. God gives me comfort and a clear mind. Sometimes I will get up from that prayer and go immediately to the location of the object. Other times I simply relax and understand that if its findable I will find it in due time and usually find it within the week.

It's not an angel but your very own subconscious helping you out. It's your 'guardian angel' so to speak. It works separately from you also. Most couples are very attune, so the answer as to where your lost item was manifested up into his consciousness.

I believe in Devinne intervention and angels and I also forget where I put something only to later stumble on what I misplaced.

But not to discredit or lessen your experience I am thankful for your prayer & faith.

Thanks for shareing.

I find what I have lost through the intercession of St. Anthony, patron of lost things (items, souls, etc.) It never fails for me.
