RSVP Regrets only means that you are supposed to call if you are not planning on going, but if you are planning on going, you don't have to call.

It means that you are only to RSVP if you cannot attend. If you don't call the host, they're counting on you to show up.

I have not heard of that, but I would think it means that if you don't RSVP to let them know you won't be going, then they will assume you WILL be going. I think "regrets only" means you don't need to RSVP unless you won't be going (or sending your regrets).

The "M" is for Mr/Ms/Mrs Your Name - so that the couple knows who is RSVPing on the card. So if the wedding invitation is addressed to John and Susan Smith, they will write "M"r. John and Susan Smith on the line with the M. If the invite is just to the single, unmarried Suzie Smith, she'll write "M"s. Suzie Smith on the M line.

It means that you should contact them and let them know if you can not make the event and there is no need to contact them if you intend to attend.
