Everybody and their mother LOVES this dip.. it's amazing.. delicious and sooo cheap to make.. you'll never EVER have to find another recipe..

It's called Mexican bean Dip..

What you need is

A medium sized rectangular foil pan
A container of sour cream
a package of shredded Mexican cheese
Newman's own salsa or any other chunky salsa
a can and a half of refried beans..

What u need to do is

-pre-heat ur oven to 350
In your foil pan you need to layer the ingredients EXACTLY like I say..

First put in your beans ... smooth them into a layer
THEN put on the salsa.. spread that evenly all over the layer of beans

THEN put little dollops of sour cream.. you don't want to mix it into your salsa.. you just put little spoonfuls everywhere..

THEN put your cheese on top to cover the pan..

Pop it into the oven for about 20 minutes.. serve with scoops.. it's sooo yummy.. serve HOT!

OMG.. I have to go make some now!

If you're looking for something different. You can make a cream-cheese dip. It is 3 pkgs. (8 oz each) of cream cheese + 1/4 cup of brown sugar or regular refined sugar (your preference) + 1 tsp vanilla extract. and mini chocolate chips...

What you do is allow the cream cheese to soften, mix in the sugar and vanilla, shape into a ball, roll in mini chocolate chips and allow to set in the refrigerator (usually at least 2 hours). Serve this with those graham cracker sticks- you could even make it interesting by using some chocolate ones and some cinnamon or honey- My family LOVES this treat at parties, etc.

Also, since you are using it for a superbowl party, you could get really creative and find a cake pan which wilton makes that is the shape of a football and use that instead of the standard "ball" shape...

As for a more hearty dip for chips...My husband always relies on me to make my regular, popular cheese dip. It's simple and is always gone by the end of the night. There are TONS of variations on these type of recipes, but here is what I always use... (The amount depends on how much dip you are wanting to make- This is for a full crock pot). I pkg. velveeta, 1 can of rotel (drained) OR 1 Jar of salsa (depends on your preference), 1 pkg. owens sausage (cooked, drained and chopped), 1 can cream of chicken soup (this keeps the dip from getting too thick or gunky)! Serve this with the "dippable" tortilla chips and voila! It pretty much makes itself!

Hope these help you out!

This is the one:

Take a log of goat cheese and place on a shallow bowl/plate.

All measures are approximate:
1/4 cup of olive oil
handful of sliced sun dried tomatoes, the kind in oil
a good sprinkling of salt
minced fresh garlic, about 3 cloves
1/4 cup each minced fresh basil and parsley.
mix all that crap together and pour over the goat cheese log.

It's so bangin' that you might polish off the whole thing before your guests arrive.

The most delicious, ridiculously- easy dip recipe that I know is to warm up a can of chili (no beans) with a small package of cream cheese. Serve hot with Scoops Fritos. People love it. Better make sure you have enough to make a second batch.

mix 1 cup mayo or miricle whip with 1 block softened cream cheese, add 1 pound diced imitation crabmeat, 1 celery rib -diced fine, and minced onions... season with onion powder, garlic powder and some liquid italian dressing (in the bottle from your fridge) to thin it to the consistancy you want
