Which is the least damaging brand? I have dark hair and want to dye it dark mahogany red

The best option is using Indian recipe, of "Mehandi" also called "Heena"
Soak it in the water and then grind it with fenugreek seeds, and then leave it for one night.In the morning apply directly to your hair and keep it for 30-60 minutes and then wash off with mild shampoo. It would not "dye" the hair , but you would love the dark Mahogany color
This is the best option, does not contain any "chemical" no side affects at all. You can buy the items from any South Asian store

Semi- permanent is less damaging than permanent and will grow out without visible roots. Try natural instincts it lasts about 28 shampoos and is very gentle.

I use Color Match on my dark hair. It conditions and colors nicely.

My girlfriend uses Loreal,she buys it and I color her hair, works great and her hair always looks great.
