Well I never smoked when I was hungry, in fact deliberately avoided smoking when I was hungry because it made me feel like ****. But smoking does relieve stress at least temporarily. Mainly Id say it calms you down.
I started smoking because of the taste actually. So when the taste stopped being pleasurable a few years later I quite.

Quit till you can. Nicotine is a powerful poison. I have been smoking for twenty years. I am a non smoker now. The thing is that your body recognizes the harmful effects of nicotine, mainly, after you had a period without it and your body is not used to it anymore, or, you are starting to smoke too much and taking in too much. Feeling sick after smoking is a clear message from your body that you are taking in poison and somehow it makes no sense to continue. Probably you will continue, not because you are weak or something but you fell in the nicotine trap. I would recommend you the book of Allen Carr for the moment when you are considering quitting it. The sooner, the better it is for you.l

Its obviously relaxing, i am a smoker since the age of 18 and now i am 26 so now i am kinda chain smoker (hehe).
What made me started ?
I used to smoke my dads left-over cigarettes when i was pretty young-used to pick the best ones for me out of the ashtray (hehe). So probally it was in my dads genes that got me started. I have also been stressed out as a child-used to watch my dad smoke and relax on the sofa so that left an impact on my mind. That ya this might be a good thing. On the other hand my elder bro never comes near to smokes so thats an irony probly cuz my moms genes in him.
As i had the genes so when 18 all the dudes are hyped up bout tryin everything that comes their way, i chose to smoke-since then i am a smoker and got addicted. Its just a way of escape from the stress-worryful life.

I don't smoke anymore. But when I did, it was only socially. So because it was a long period time between one pack of cigs to the next, I would get light headed on the first few drags.
It definately relaxed me. It relaxed me so much in fact, that I sometimes had to go poop after I smoked. I know that sounds ridiculous, but I asked one of my friends one time if she ever experienced anything like that and she reluctantly agreed.
No one wants to talk about it, but evidently others have had the urge to go #2 after a smoke.

I tried smoking for months. It only makes me feel tired, for up to a few days after smoking. It's like it sucks all the energy out of me. But the only time I do enjoy smoking is at the bar when I'm drinking, it enhances the buzz for a while.

First breathing in for the day - dizzy. Next smokes - depends on the type of smoker and the reason, but it is distracting you, relaxing like (though your pulse gets higher), one of the cheapest and most easy to get ways of entertainment, award.
The start- stupidity, conformism, herd thinking and later- addiction.

I think it mainly stops the anxiety you get from craving the nicotine. And sometimes it can make you dizzy if you haven't smoked in a long time.

Your body is a temple, God dwells in you and it's not His will that you pollute your body. I'm a born again Christian; I believe in the Holy Bible as the only and final authority. God has put it on my heart to reach out to people and I like to take advantage of the opportunities that I am given. Jesus is the Answer! The Bible says, seek and you will find, knock and the door will be opened. If your not saved, God wants you to be. We never know when it's too late. Jesus is the way, the only way to God. God Bless You & Yours!
