Memorex MVDP1075 DVD player will not work. It says no disc when I put a DVD disk into the player I receive?

I receive an error msg, "no disk found" or something to that fact.

Make sure the disc is clean, and make sure the disc you put in there is something the player can recognize. Test by putting in a movie DVD. If the player still can't recognize it, your player is toast.
