The only reason that it would not be alright is if you are over 18. If you are nervous about it, just work it into your daily conversation. Assure her that you would not be upset if she turns you down.

awwwww im in the 8th grade 2...lol...no boy its not 2 early this 1 boy asked me out already and ive known him 4 3days so your all good...matter of fact 1year and knowing her is perfect
