Well, actually, his name is Gizmo. He's an 8 month old Papillon and he's adorable. But I'm registering him with the AKC and you're supposed to give them like a 3 word name. I don't know the names of the ***** or sire, so I can't use that. I just need something cute, possibly rhyming or using another "g". I know it's kinda stupid, but please help! lol

if you'd like to see a picture of him as a puppy at 2 months old, go to this website. See why I named him Gizmo??

This is a picture of him at about 6 or 7 months:

Does anybody think he's of show quality? Are his markings good and everything? He's about 10 inches at the shoulders. And he weighs about 10 lbs.

OMG! He is so cute. He looks like a tiny little teddy bear. I don't know much about dogs. My husband and I want a puppy, but are waiting until my son is older. So, since I'm not well-versed in doggie names, I looked up some synonyms for gizmo.
What about Gizmo Gadget Accoutrement? They all mean the same thing, but the French sounding last one gives it a "touch of class" in a tongue in cheek kind of way.
Or, someone I work with uses Vootenooter as a "whatchamacallit" sort of word. That might be funny.
Also, you could do a fancy first and middle and have the last name be deGizmo. Like... Archibald Rinaldo deGizmo.
Anyway, have fun!

Awww your dog is adorable. AKC names can be tough. I had a collie named Princess Christina Maria, but we called her Chrissie, and I have a Boxer named Sir Uga (my last name) and we call him Uga (like the georgia bulldogs uga). I thought about it and all I could come up with for your little Gizmo was Sir Gizmo Great, or you could go with Sir (or Prince) Gizmo __________ (your last name). I know those ideas are kinda bad, but there isn't much you can do with the name Gizmo

Use your last name. AKC likes that.
Possibly Something like:
"Smith's Gorgeous Gizmo"
I'm concerned for your sake that your breeder/seller did not provide
papers with parent information. You have a right to that. You can't track and/or prove breeding pedigree validity without it.
I hope you didn't get ripped off!!

You need papers from the breeder and the dog parents would have had to be registered as well as the litter. Do you have any of this info? If you have nothing at all..you cant register him. If you don't plan on showing him or breeding him, there is no need to register him anyway.
