I've been told "I love you like a brother." , ouch!! what are some other ones?

Well you can say "I used to be deeply in love with
you, but you didn't show you loved me back so I moved on.
I'm sorry I didn't know you felt this way but I'm with someome else". Use that line It worked 4 me. It leaves you guys as friends, and If you change your mind "potential lovers". GOOD LUCK!

I am emotionallly unavailable right now.
possible reasons (rotate if necessary)
1. hurt badly once...can't get the anger out of my mind.
2. focused on job right now, relationships are too distracting.
3. I am not able to give to another what they would need/want
4. on a diet.
5. Have a girlfriend out of state, met on vacation.
6. Have a girlfriend that is going through a hard time...we broke up but she needs me (do it with a needy face).
7. Have a hangup on this other girl right now, almost obsessed..sorry
8. You are attractive but I bat for the other team.

Tell the truth...simply say you are not interested, but always remain tactful and polite; therefore, she will not feel rejected and will not act a fool. LOL! Good luck!

Thank them for being attentive to you. Tell them that you feel pleased that they are interested in you. Ask them to say how they feel and if they say they have feelings for you and you don't for them. Thank them for being honest. Tell them you value their friendship. Tell them that you don't feel quite as they do and ask them to understand.
