A lot of the dresses I happen to find (and like!) are all white! I don't want to be "that girl" who wears a white dress to a wedding. I would normally wear black but I would rather wear a light color to a beach wedding in Mexico. I'm not a pastel/floral print kind of girl and some of the cutest dresses for spring/summer are all, well, white! I would appreciate any advice!

You can punch up the dress with a pink/lavender/light blue shawl or pashmina, or wear a cute but not too huge hat.

Accessorise with a bag, shoes, earrings, a hat, whichever..but NOT IN WHITE, and it'll take away the whiteness of your dress.

But I think you're better off in another color. White is still traditionally reserved for the bride.

Then go with a coral, dark pink, lavender,or yellow. These colors will look great if it's a summer/spring wedding. You could wear black just make sure that has polka dots or some other design on it to take and make it festive.Your accessories will carry a black dress anyway.Have a blast, but don't wear white to HER wedding....

Sorry as a soon to be bride I'd be very disappointed if one of my guest showed up in a white dress. Do any other color. With all the options of clothes out there I'm sure there is something out there for you.

If it HAS to be white (and really, it shouldn't be!!), can it at least be patterned? Flowers, little cherries, etc? Solid white borders on disrespect to the bride.

If all else fails, you may want to talk to a seamstress and have something made in another color.

NOT WHITE. Can you get one of the white ones dyed another color that you'd be happy with?

Don't wear white it's disrespectful to the bride.

You should wear a nice lime green dress or a nice light color not something to dark.

You can wear tropical colors such as orange, turquoise, yellow and green. they are all appropriate for a beach wedding.

Orange and turquoise look divine on a tanned skin. Whatever you do, please do not wear white or black.

Good luck

aww i for my section like that gown. It relies upon on your hair colour for which gown colour to p.c.... in case you have crimson hair i might pass with the blue gown in case you have brown or black i might pass with the purple gown yet while your a blonde i might pass with the two colour.
