I'll probably get alot of hate mail...but here is my opinion to which I have a right
under the first amendment.
Immigrants in general have become an economic reality in this country.
The major retailers and corporations know it, the I.R.S knows it (that's why
they issue them I.T.I.N. cards which they use to pay taxes), the banks know it,
even the president said it wouldn't be realistic to deport all 12 million illegals.
Their rhetoric doesn't work because it does not accommodate to this reality.
Not every American is anti-immigrant, and not everyone is gullible
enough to be misinformed by the antis. Illegal immigrants are not afraid to say they
are illegal, but these people (the antis) are afraid to admit they are racists, if they got their way
after eliminating the illegals, they will turn against the legal immigrants then against the minorities...
and so on, then we'll be back to the "Jim Crow era."
In conclusion, immigration to this country will not disappear just because some
xenophobics keep whining and barking about it. What we need is a comprehensive reform.

no longer as long as those with money and means run the country. Blue collar workers are the only people who do no longer want the illigal immigrants right here. All illegals, no longer only mexicans. people who've the money and the means like the reality that they are able to have low priced exertions and make greater money for themselves. in addition they do no longer see what their much less influential individuals (us) see and take care of on a daily foundation. in spite of everything, they ( illigal immigrants) bypass away the wealthy neighborhoods by using 5:00 or whilst the backyard is finished or the pool is clean. they do no longer could concern approximately working 2 or 3 jobs to pay the expenses because of the fact they are able to't get a job which will pay sufficient to take care of their families. Mexicans are no longer the only people who could have babies, in spite of the undeniable fact that, individuals, the two black and white are discouraged from having greater effective than they are able to grant for. Mexicans are excused from this because of faith (so i'm advised) So basically long tale short. as long as those with the money and the means administration the country, No illilgal immigration heavily isn't solved. (they're going to shuffle their ft, in straightforward terms sufficient to make you think of they're engaged on it.) yet no longer something will replace:( :(

I don't think it is failing. And I personally know legal Americans of Mexican decent that are very opposed to the uncontrolled influx of illegal aliens into this nation.
And the TRUTH is not rhetoric, nor is it propaganda. Every argument no matter how weak,by the pro criminal supporters, has been
proved to be nothing more than wish filled thinking and delusions. The illegal alien is not essential to the nation. The economy would not fail if the were all deported.Food would not sky rocket in price if they were all gone.Simply smoke and mirrors by groups that have a far more sinister reason behind the "talk".
We legal Americans of all colors, races, nationality's and place of origin, will never roll over and accept this invasion of our country by illegal aliens dead set on destroying this nation.

Daniel don't blame the liberals or the media. Have you listened to Lou Dobbs on CNN? The rhetoric is being ignored because the guys in power either have business interests that make alot more money with cheap labor or their friends do. Neither side of the aisle in Congress is going to make any move to do anything until we force them to by threatening their jobs and taking them away if they don't pass border security (and fund it), jail time for employers hiring illegals (I suggest five years, general population, first offence, NO chance for early release for ANY reason), and mass deportation.

What rhetoric are you talking about exactly?
You want to know the truth?
The demoncrats won't do anything to enforce our immigration laws because they want the minority/hispanic vote, and they're afraid they'll lose it if they actually do something about the problem.
The republican'ts won't do anything to enforce our immigration laws because illegal immigrants provide cheap labor for corperations, corperations which provide a major source of funds and votes. They're afraid they'll lose the corperations if they actually do something about the problem.
There. Pure and simple.
Edit: by the way, I'm not against legal immigration. I'm against law-breaking criminals who seek to be rewarded for their behavior, IE, the illegal aliens.

If you get "every" American to agree on one thing, then probably the SuperBowl is a giant Brain Washing behind the screen.
This is not a problem that is so easy to put a neat label on.
Illegal immigrants are bigger targets of dishonest business people then they are to our Nation's Security.
I don't know the answer, but I can say that undocumented workers are paying thousands of dollars per year into SS and Medicare and it is only a gift on their part. They cannot hope to ever re-coup that. Also, if an undocumented worker is hurt on the job, they cannot seek medical attention, they aren't eligible for Workman's Comp and they cannot draw Disability.
good luck & blessing

Everyone isn't against illegal alien criminals and the "anti's" MESSAGE isn't failing. We have a problem with the liberal/socialist media but our message is getting out.

Nobody has a taste for the dirty work of splitting families and midnight raids into homes and empty fields and food processing plants that would be the result of a hard line crackdown.
In one such raid churches had to go to homes and look for children who were left without caregivers after their parents were both arrested, and some citizens may have been caught up in the raid as well.

Every American doesn't agree on anything.
I'm against open borders and uncontrolled illegal immigration.
I personally know several illegals and they are nice people with strong family values.
How can they be bad for my country?
They work, pay taxes and their kids stay in school.
I don't buy the rhetoric that says they are bad.
